Humble Beginnings

Curious Bites was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and inspired by some of my fondest childhood memories: baking alongside my mother.

She was my very first teacher in the kitchen, guiding me through baking my first chocolate cake. I still remember it vividly. It was moist, rich, and perfectly baked, crafted with patience, care, and attention to every detail. What began as a simple baking lesson became a cherished tradition and a lasting source of comfort.

Over the years, baking has become much more than a hobby. It is a way for me to reconnect with home, relive treasured memories, and find joy in the familiar aromas of freshly milled flour, browning butter, and warm sugar. Those moments inspired the creation of Curious Bites.
